I am a Mexican-Icelandic, London based cinematographer.

I have shot a number of award winning independent features, short films and digital series. My work has been featured at prestigious festivals such as Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Underwire Film Festival, HollyShorts and New York Shorts International Film Festival to name a few.

Currently a PhD candidate in Film by Practice (Exeter/LFS). My research looks at the relationship between cinematography and landscape in Iceland.

I see cinematography as a way of portraying thought and emotion, utilizing the immense and fascinating malleability of the medium. An enthusiastic collaborator, I work closely with directors, production designers, camera and lighting teams and colourists in order to achieve a vision that is unique and serves the narrative.
